The Macraman
The dye starts as a plant.
The plants are placed in to our large drying cage until any excess water has evaporated off the plants.
The filtered water is heated to our desired temperature.
The plants are placed in to our heated water tub and colours are extracted.
The fibres are separated and submerged in to our water tub for dyeing.
The fibres are left in our heated water tub for a desired time.
The fibres are taken out of the tub and moved to our drying station. 24 hours later, the weaving begins.
All water used in our process is released in to our natural filtration vats and then redistributed in to the garden to water our beautiful plants, which intern, dyes our products.
